All right Mr.Burkhard is offing to tech a class on making and using longbows the details are still in the works but I need to know who would like to come it would probley be 2 or 3 classes of a few hours each.
Oh, wait, scratch that. Some of us will come, depending on when it is and whether there will be a vehicle available. Does anybody know if people will be carpooling to save gas and give rides to ride-less?
ok guys I got in touch with him and he is having some difficulty finding starves so we ether needto :A wate until he can get some, B look in to buying some , or C find a tree he could make some out of the tree would need to be ash or hickory.
Okay, I asked him. He said he would be willing to let us use some of the Ash, I'm not sure if we have the size or amount we would need, so if we knew the size and amount we would know if we had some that would work. I don't think he would want to cut one down specifically for that purpose though. We have one down a;ready with several larger size branches we can use though.
Since I need to respond. I say I am out of range.

ReplyDeleteHow big would the tree need to be? Like the diameter and length, and how many and all that.
