HAY you guys I was doing a little blog clean up and I noted that we have 140 "spam" posts so I looked at them and there all you guys posting about stuff I don't no why it did that but I not going to look thro them all so I guess I'll just try and tack care of it but when you wright a comment about some thing try and make sure it went up properly :) Thanks

ReplyDeleteI think we should all think of ideas and when everyone is agreed, combine some of those ideas into a symbol. We already know we want it to be completely unique, if we filch off of a game or a sibling it won't be quite as unique to the blog.

I wasn't thinking we would have to use that necessarily though, I just thought they were cool, and kind of represented what the blog was about, history being represented by the Medieval swords, and the Word of God, being a two edged sword and all that. But now that I think about it I see that you are right, it's still not really any more original, heh. Thanks for pointing that out!

Green because I like it and it would be "Rangerish" and we can just use this one you HAFT to change some thing. The sword because I wanted one like this so we could flip it over to make it look more like a cross and wright something on the hilt if we wanted to . I have reconsider it might make us look Jewish so maybe we should stick with the sun burst. we could change the circle to an oak leaf too but I like the circle it might represent us better.

That would be really cool!!!! I always wanted to make bows and arrows
ReplyDeleteand learn how to shoot them! Josiah and I used to find branches in the
woods to make bows, and use twine for strings, and make arrows out of sharpened
sticks. :) Needless to say, it didn't work very well. :) It would be really fun to make real ones, and learn how to shoot them! Where does this person live? It might make a difference if we have to do a lot of traveling.
Hmmm. What about a star like the ones you always see in pictures of the manger scene? You know, the ones that look kind of like a cross. Or just a white shining around the middle of the sword and going out? Like a ball of white, getting more translucent as it goes out, with streaks of white going out from it, kind of like the sunburst design.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE archery. Not that I've handled a REAL bow more than once in my entire life,but...Just the idea of it is cool. We used to try to make our own, too. The arrows flipped and landed less than two feet from where they started. Not good enough balance, I guess.
